MAKE-A-DINOSAUR

On Monday, August 15, 2011 24 comments

I found a wonderful game where you can create your own species of dinosaurs. The game is called "make-a-dinosaur" and I recommend that you try it.

You can fully customize the dinosaur, from tail to head. A great game that deserves to be played.

Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar - Flash Game

On Wednesday, August 3, 2011 30 comments

Today I'll show you a game entitled "Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar". As the title says, this game you take the role of a robot dinosaur that shoots rays when roars.

You have two characters to choose from, "Tyrannosaurus X" and "Dinomite." The gameplay does not change depending on the character, so choose the one you like most.

It is a classic side-scrolling game with only one level, when reaching the end you must face a boss who is pretty easy to beat. Not a game to play all day but will give you a fun time.

Use the mouse to manouvre and shoot beams. Make sure you have enough dino-power to ROAR with full power!

Have fun! =P

Dinosaurs - The TV Show

On Friday, July 29, 2011 27 comments

Hi guys! Today I will talk about "Dinosaurs", one of the greatest series ever existed. =D

Dinosaurs is initially set in 60,000,003 BC with the years, months and days counting toward zero. (In the first episode, Robbie asks his father if he ever questions what they are counting down to).

The focus of the show's plot is the Sinclair family: Earl, Fran, Robbie, Charlene and Baby.

One of the show's most popular characters is the mischievous Baby (occasionally referred to as "Junior" until the second season, where he was officially named "Baby Sinclair"). Baby's most famous catchphrase is "Not the mama!", shouted while hitting Earl repeatedly over the head with a frying pan. Frequently, when Baby should be hurt (such as after having been hurled through the air), he will throw his arms up enthusiastically and exclaim, "Again!"

While Dinosaurs was a TV show, several jokes in the series were at the expense of television shows in general. Earl often wants to watch TV rather than do something more practical, and several jokes accuse television of "dumbing down" the population and making it lazy.

The Simpsons episode "Black Widower" references the similarity of family structure between the two shows.
Lisa: These talking dinosaurs are more real than most real families on TV.
Homer: Look Maggie, they have a baby too.
Bart: It's like they saw our lives and put it right up on screen.

Here´s the opening =D

I hope you liked it = D

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom - Review

On Thursday, July 21, 2011 22 comments

Today I will talk about "Majin and the forsaken temple." I played it for xbox360, but it is also available for PS3. This game has much in common with just about every other 3D action-adventure title you've ever played -with perhaps a greater emphasis on puzzle- solving and backtracking than most. You control an unnamed thief who frees the Majin from captivity and tries to use him to save the world from some ineffable, creeping darkness that's corrupting the people and the land.
As the game progresses, Majin will gain powers, such as the ability to produce electricity. These elements will be used both in combat and puzzle solving.
The game is intended to emphasize the differences in Majin and Tepeu. For example at certain points, the characters will be separated and Tepeu must dispatch enemies using stealth, as he does not have the strength Majin does.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom tells a sad but clichéd tale with an endearing giant and his friend at the helm of it. This “puzzle platformer” won’t give you too much of a problem as the solutions are simple, but finding every collectible in the world will take quite a bit of effort. It's not without frustrations, but journeying with the goofy monster is an adventure most people will get a kick out of.

If you never played it and you get the chance I recommend you try it. =)

This is not a gaming blog, but as an exception, I will put games twice.
This time I bring you the "Cavemen VS Dinosaurs: Coconut Boom!" of  MochiGames.
As always. Mochigames makes very entertaininggames.
This game is like Angry Birds, but you have to throw coconuts at dinosaurs rather than birds rather to buildings. :P

The game is not very complicated and is quite entertaining, perfect for playing in the 10 free minutes at work or at school. : P

Dino Run - Flash Game

On Friday, July 15, 2011 32 comments

Today I was surfing the internet and found this game, so I came to my mind the idea of publishing it here. Basically you are a little yellow dinosaur has to escape the destruction created by the meteorite. It's pretty fun, so I recommend you to play it.

Here is the link:

Controls
Use the left and right arrow keys to control the little dinosaur. The up key makes him jump and the down key makes him duck, then when you finish a level, the space bar starts the next.

Tips
Collect as many eggs and bones as you can in order to improve your dinosaur and to get yourself through the more bleak landscapes.

Dragon Illusion

On Thursday, July 14, 2011 29 comments

Some days ago i have done this:

It´s a wonderful optical illusion. This little dragon is made out of paper - you simply cut it out and stick it together, and stand it on a table or window ledge. But when you move around, the dragon's head seems to follow you around the room. Have a look at the video, to see what I mean. The effect is really uncanny.

If you want to do one just follow this link: http://www.grand-illusions.com/opticalillusions/dragon_illusion/
Download the PDF and print it.
Once you have printed the dragon out then you can cut out the dragon, fold and stick it, and you will be able to see this fantastic illusion yourself. When you print the page out, you will see that the instructions for folding the dragon are included.

Hope you like this =D
